Our Fees

Our Investment and Pension Services Advice Fees

We provide you with an initial consultation free of charge to get to know you, your personal goals and how or if we can help you achieve them.

We will also discuss the cost, and levels of our services both initially and throughout our relationship with you. We charge our services by way of a fee. These fees are based on a percentage of the amount you invest, subject to a minimum fee.

We believe in full transparency and ensuring you know exactly what services you are paying for to ensure you are receiving value for money. We charge a fee for the recommendation report, a fee to arrange your plan and an annual fee to review your plan and circumstances if this is something you require.

There are two steps to this process explained below.

Step 1 - Financial Review and Recommendation report

Step 2 - Policy Arrangement & Implementation

This can be a continuation from the initial discussion, where agreed, or a further appointment. This process covers:

  • gathering of information about your existing financial arrangements and full personal circumstances;
  • understanding of your investment knowledge and attitude and tolerance towards investment risk;
  • recommendation of an asset allocation model that matches your risk profile and the subsequent
  • assessment and suitability of any existing holdings;
  • preparation of our recommendations to you;
  • arranging a second appointment to explain and discuss our recommendations in detail.

 Our charge for this service is a fixed fee and this fee will be waived wholly or in part should you decide to implement any of our investment recommendations.

Should you instruct us to proceed with (any of) our recommendation(s) we will act for you in the following ways:

  • Handle all fund and policy administration on your behalf;
  • Provide regular updates to keep you informed of progress;
  • Ensure all your documents are issued in line with your expectations;
  • Provide confirmation of all actions taken on your behalf in writing.

Our charge for this service is based on a percentage of the amount you invest and/or transfer. This can be facilitated by the provider on implementation or paid directly by yourself.

We may also charge for ad hoc recommendation and planning reports via a fixed fee or an hourly fee depending on your circumstance.

Our Service Levels

Your circumstances and investments should be reviewed on a regular basis. This is not only down to the ever changing financial landscape but also your own varying objectives and goals. Below we set out the ongoing service levels you can select and what is provided at each level.

We also provide a Transactional Service – This would involve an ad hoc review as and when you need one, if you would like us to stay as your advisers but do not see a need for regular annual reviews.

All of our fees and ongoing services are detailed in our client agreement and service proposition documents, which will be given to your before our first meeting to review. During our meeting we will discuss the document in detail so you fully understand the terms before signing. Our ongoing service is cancellable at anytime should you decide that it is no longer needed.

Mortgages & Protection

Mortgages – We charge a fee of £350 for providing advice and submitting your mortgage application.  This fee becomes payable on issue of the mortgage offer. We will receive and retain any commission paid by the lender when your mortgage completes. This amount will be confirmed by the lender in their disclosure document provided to you

Protection – We do not charge a fee as we will receive commission from the provider/insurer after the policy has been placed on risk.
